“I expect to pass through this world but once; any good thing therefore that I can do, or any kindness that I can show to any fellow creature, let me do it now; let me not defer or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again.” - Stephan Grellet
A little Self Care Challenge for today: Perform a random act of kindness.
Guess what? Self care is NOT all about YOU! (Well, actually it is...but...)
The theory is: When you do something nice for another human being you sow a little seed of goodness in the world. That seed, planted with care in the right person, under the right conditions, will start to grow and bear fruit which will potentially feed another person who will plant another seed and so on and so on and so on....and as a result, the world will become a brighter, happier, friendlier place to live. Living in a place where kindness surrounds you is very good for your SELF CARE!
The alternative, of course, is to do nothing -which is preferable to doing evil, but not likely to make a difference to the world in the long run. It won't benefit you or anyone to do nothing.
So go out today and do some good! Please share what goodness you planted in the comments.
