3 Signs of Spring!

It's spring fever.  That is what the name of it is.   
And when you've got it, you want

Sign of Spring #1:   I bought several of these little planters when I was in Japan last month.  The dish is about 3"x3"; the ceramic "bead" is 1.5".  I thought they were unique and bonsai-like.  Some of the designs were so very Japanese too.    My sister cut a branch from one of my cherry blossom trees and I am pleased to announce that it is blooming!

Sign of Spring #2:  These snow drops appear in my garden every year.  Brave little devils, just last week they were encased to their beautiful white blooms in snow.   They are unwavering though...setting a good example  for those of us who are eagerly awaiting warmer weather to just be patient a little bit longer.

Sign of Spring #3:   Darling little bird outside my kitchen window this morning.  This is a red breasted nut hatch.  He looks like he might be a regular at our bird feeder- sort of plump and at peace with the current cool season.
