Secret Self Care Guidebook: How to Be Queen For A Day

“There is no use trying, said Alice; one can't believe impossible things. I dare say you haven't had much practice, said the Queen. When I was your age, I always did it for half an hour a day. Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast.”
The first step in being Queen, is to believe -with all your heart-that you are capable and deserving of that title.   (and YOU ARE because being Queen IS a birthright!)

Look in the mirror, raise your head high, adopt a proud demeanor and give yourself a regal and approving nod!

There you go.....You are Queen!  And now you are ready to go about planning your royal day....

While a birthday or holiday might justify such an indulgence, I think that choosing to be Queen for a day on just any old ordinary day is perfectly Queen-like and acceptable.    You rule, afterall, so why not just declare it on a whim?  (You cannot decide to be Queen and then go about it only halfway!)

Imagine, for a moment, how would you spend your day?  Would there be pampering? SILENCE!? Bubbles? Chocolat?   Would you surround yourself with pets or people?  Would you just like to be left alone?  Sleep in? Or get up and go on an adventure?

Plan your regal day today.   Pick a date and make the arrangements necessary to ensure you can have full, uninterrupted, reign.

Rule for being Queen for A Day:

1) There are no rules...well, none that aren't put forth by her majesty anyway.

Who knows, you may decide that this Queen -thing quite suits you and issue a ruling to become queen at least once a month!

I take a "Me" day about once a month or every two months (I'm busy....). I have to actually schedule it, otherwise it won't happen. It usually involves some kind of self-care and beauty, cooking my fave things, having a drink (or 3).
