Pumpkin Hair Mash



A great little recipe for gently conditioning and hydrating your hair.  It provides UV protection and strengthens to prevent future damage.

1 can organic canned pumpkin (Fresh pumpkin may be used as well.  Dice it and boil it until soft)
1/2 cup of plain yogurt

Mash ingredients together and apply to damp hair.   Leave on for 10-15 minutes.  Rinse and shampoo.  It is recommended that you do this twice a month.

where can you get canned pumpkin? I've never seen it before!

It is readily available in grocery stores in the states. Personally, I prefer to just cube up a small pumpkin or squash and boil it until soft (like a potato).

Most canned goods have a plastic based lining in them that is tainted with BPA - a hormone disruptor. I recommend using fresh or frozen whenever possible.
