Get Over It Day

The cure for anything is salt water - sweat, tears, or the sea.  ~Isak Dinesen
Today is.....Get Over It Day! A day strategically scheduled at the halfway point between Valentine's Day and April Fool's Day for YOU to finally address and release any nagging issue that are taking over your ability to enjoy life.
How to "Get Over It" and send your problems packing:
Identify the problem - the official website Get Over It Day suggests that if you don't know what you need to get over, ask a friend what they are tired of hearing you talk about.
Box it up - think about the issue for a bit, and then re-frame it.  How is holding on to the problem affecting your life?   If you woke up tomorrow and it was gone, how would that feel?  What would you do differently?   Apply the serenity prayer too: acknowledge what you have control of and what you don't.  Change what you can; accept what you can't and begin to let it go!
Address it -For those items within your control...In many cases the solution is simple, but issues that aren't addressed become much bigger, weightier problems.  Put your complaint in a letter-even if you don't send it.  Call that person and apologize if you did something wrong (ask how you can make it better).  Decide what the better picture will look like and begin to draw it.
Stamp it - Sometimes solutions take time, be patient with yourself.   Recognize that you hold the solution within you.  Put your mark on it.  Do it your own way.  Just do it.
Sent it off - Once you have done what you can, let go of it.  Trust that God and the universe will take care of the rest.
Take Good Care!
